Honda Cars India is preparing for a big dual launch next month, bringing in the updated Honda City and the all-new Honda ZR-V.

While the City will get its second facelift, the ZR-V will be a completely new SUV for India, positioned at the premium end of Honda’s lineup.

Honda ZR-V

The Honda ZR-V is already on sale globally and sits between the HR-V and CR-V. It features a modern design with slim LED headlamps, a large grille, and sleek tail-lamps.

In terms of size, it measures 4,568 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,657 mm, offering good cabin space and road presence.

Inside, the SUV gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, head-up display, wireless charging, and a powered tailgate.

On the safety side, it comes with the Honda Sensing ADAS suite, which includes features like adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist.

The ZR-V will be powered by Honda’s e:HEV hybrid system, combining a 2.0-litre petrol engine with dual electric motors, producing 181 bhp and 315 Nm.

Engine Options to Continue

Mechanically, the City facelift is expected to remain unchanged. It will continue with the 1.5-litre petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox.
