Maruti Brezza Facelift - Early Details Out

New Brezza facelift expected in 2026. Turbo petrol engine likely to be added. Bigger screen and more features incoming.

Maruti Brezza is set to receive a mid-life update soon. Maruti Suzuki has already begun testing the facelifted version, and the launch is expected around mid-2026, possibly before the festive season.

Minor Changes on the Outside

The overall shape of the SUV will remain the same, but a few styling updates are expected.

The front could get a new grille, updated bumper and redesigned fog lamps. At the rear, the SUV may feature reworked LED tail-lights and a revised bumper, along with new alloy wheels.

These updates will help the Brezza look more modern without changing its identity.

Engine Options to Expand

The biggest change is likely to be under the hood.

The facelifted model could get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, similar to the unit used in the Maruti Fronx. This engine delivers around 100 bhp and 147 Nm.

The existing 1.5-litre petrol engine will continue, along with a CNG option. A new 6-speed manual gearbox could also be introduced.

More Practical CNG Setup

The new Brezza may feature an underbody-mounted CNG tank, which frees up more boot space.

The current petrol-CNG setup is expected to continue, producing 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm in CNG mode.

Cabin Gets Tech Upgrade

Inside the cabin, the Brezza is expected to get a new dashboard layout with updated materials.

A bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system could replace the current unit and will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Features like a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, powered driver seat and updated instrument cluster are also expected.

Staying Competitive

With these updates, the Brezza aims to remain a strong contender in the segment.

It will continue to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, which already offer advanced features and modern styling.
