It is no secret that Renault is planning to launch the third generation Duster SUV in the Indian market. Adding to it, the French automaker plans to introduce the Kiger and Triber facelifts in the country in 2025. Renault has started testing the new-gen Duster SUV on the Indian roads. In fact, the SUV caught seems in its final development stages. The spy images reveal that the new Renault Duster for India looks similar to the global model, featuring rugged stance along with high ground clearance. The SUV will be a direct rival to Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and others in the mid-sized SUV category.
The new Duster is slightly longer than the previous model at 4.34 meters; however, its wheelbase has been slightly reduced. The SUV rides on a 2657mm long wheelbase. In terms of styling, the new Duster retains the original profile; however, Renault has added more modern design elements. Renault has given special attention to ergonomics this time, as the centre console is slightly angled towards the driver. The new-gen Duster will come with ADAS suite or advanced driver assistance system with features such as lane change warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition with speed alert, and object detection. It will come with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and others.
