Hyundai India has unveiled the interiors of its all-new Creta Electric SUV. The brand will fully launch the Creta EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, and it is going to be one of the most awaited electric vehicles in the EV market. This electric version of Creta will rival with popular EVs such as Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and MG ZS EV.
Hyundai continues to give out more details about this upcoming model. Ahead of its launch, Company has confirmed several exciting features, giving a glimpse into the modern, high-tech interiors of the SUV.
Creta Electric supports an all-new 10.25-inch dual-screen infotainment system, offering both a digital cluster and an infotainment screen. It has a modern three-spoke steering wheel design in Morse code, making the vehicle unique in comparison to other options in the same category. It also features floating console, dual tone theme, with the combination of Granite Grey and Dark Navy and Ocean Blue surround the ambient lighting.
The seats are made from eco-friendly materials like recycled plastic bottles and corn extract for artificial leather upholstery. Further, the front seats are also 8-way powered, providing individualized comfort in both driver and co-driver positions. The driver's seat comes with a memory function where users can return to their most-preferred seating position by just one touch of a button. The Creta Electric also boasts of a walk-in powered passenger, which facilitates rear passengers for easy access more legroom.
The Hyundai Creta Electric features innovative space features such as a 22-litre frunk (front trunk) and 433 litres of boot space. Together, these ensure that the SUV has sufficient luggage and other item space.
The brand has aimed to make maximum use of the space inside the Creta Electric too. The SUV boasts a wheelbase of 2610 mm, which leaves enough legroom, knee room, and headroom for passengers. The roofline is flat, which helps in easy ingress and egress.
The Creta Electric will come with two options - 42 kWh standard range, and 51.4 kWh long-range - for its batteries. The 128.22 bhp e-motor goes along with the standard model. On the other hand, it's the more powerful 168.66 bhp e-motor with the long-range. ARAI claims the 390 km to be covered under the standard, and 473 km is all it needs with the long range in one full charge.
The Creta Electric also supports fast charging. With a DC fast charger, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes. Using an 11 kW home charger, it will take about four hours to charge to 100% battery capacity.
