Japanese automaker Suzuki is all set to showcase a wide range of cars at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025. The company will also reveal an all-new Fronx-based concept, called the Fronx Sea Bass Night Game. This off-road concept is inspired by the theme of "night fishing in the city", and has a number of off-road accessories.
The Fronx on sale in Japan is designed and developed by Maruti Suzuki at its production facility in Gujarat. It is based on the HEARTECT platform that underpins the Baleno hatchback. The Suzuki Fronx Sea Bass Night Game Edition comes with a new set of wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar X-AT tyres.
The company has only revealed a single image of the concept, which comes equipped with roof-mounted LEDs, protective bars on the lower front bumper, and a roof box to carry extra gear. The Suzuki Fronx Sea Bass Night Game edition has black and lime green graphics with contrasting accents on the front grille, bumper, and fenders. Suzuki has also used new paint for the plastic cladding, mirror caps, and hood of the concept, giving it a more rugged stance.
The Suzuki Fronx on sale in Japan is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 102hp and 138Nm of torque. It is a front-wheel-drive SUV. As a reference, the India-spec Fronx is offered with either a 1.2L NA petrol or a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engines.
Not just the Fronx Sea Bass Night Game Edition, Suzuki will also showcase 5 more vehicles at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The company will showcase the Suzuki Wagon R Smile European Antique concept, which has floral graphics, a vintage roof rack, and different shades of pink. This model will be joined by three more kei cars including the Solio, Solio Bandit and new Spacia Gear.
Suzuki will also showcase the Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon. The limited edition of the hot hatch will mark the end of the production of the old gen Swift. It will come with special exterior and interior touches.
