MG Motor India, now operating under JSW MG Motor India, has announced a slight increase in prices across most of its car models. The hike of up to 1.5% will take effect from July 1, 2025.
The company stated that the price adjustment is necessary to tackle rising input costs and other broader economic factors. The exact amount of increase will depend on the specific model and variant of the vehicle.
This isn’t the first time MG Motor has revised its prices in 2025. Back in January, the brand had increased prices by up to 3% across its entire product lineup, also citing increasing costs as the reason.
The Indian car industry has witnessed multiple price hikes this year. Leading brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Kia, Honda, Renault, and BMW also revised their prices in April 2025. Most of these hikes ranged between 2% and 4%, with manufacturers blaming inflation, expensive raw materials, and rising operational costs.
