2026 Maruti Brezza - BIG Changes Incoming

Maruti Suzuki is preparing to give a mid-life update to its two popular SUVs, the Brezza and Grand Vitara. Testing of the 2026 Maruti Brezza has already been started. While official launch timeline is yet to be revealed, the facelifted SUV is likely to arrive by mid-2026 before Diwali. The SUV will come with cosmetic design and interior changes; however, major changes will be made under the hood.

Brezza Facelift Design Changes 

The updated model will look largely identical to the existing model, except for the few changes to its front fascia. It will receive a newly designed fog lamp, new front bumper and revised front grille. Other design changes will include new set of alloys, new rear bumper and a connected LED tail-lights. 

New Turbo Petrol Engine

If media reports are to be believed, the 2026 Maruti Brezza will be offered with two petrol engines. The SUV is expected to get a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that also powers the Fronx. This engine churns out 100bhp of power and 147Nm of torque. Another big update is that the SUV could also get a new 6-speed manual gearbox. The SUV will continue to be offered with the existing 1.5-litre petrol engine and a factory-fitted CNG version.

Underbody CNG Tank

Maruti Suzuki Brezza will be the second model from the company to feature an underbody CNG tank. This will help Maruti to free up boot space. It will continue to be offered with the 1.5L K15C petrol engine paired with the factory-fitted CNK kit. In the CNG mode, the powertrain offers 87bhp and 121.5Nm of torque. 

2026 Maruti Brezza - Interior Changes

The 2026 Brezza will come with a revised dashboard layout along with new upholstery and trims. It is expected to get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which we have already seen on the Victoris and e Vitara. This infotainment unit will be compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV could also get a new instrument console, powered driver’s seat and ventilated front seats.
