Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the popular subcompact SUV from the Indo-Japanese automaker, recently received safety upgrades in the country. The updated model lineup gets 6 airbags as standard safety features including front driver and co-driver, side and curtain airbags. Aiming to further enhance its safety quotient, the carmaker has introduced the 3-point ELR rear centre seatbelt and shoulder height adjustable front seatbelts. The 2025 Maruti Brezza also gets adjustable rear headrests, a rear centre armrest with cupholders and a 60:40 split rear seat.
Along with these feature upgrades, the 2025 Maruti Brezza has received a marginal price hike. Now, the subcompact SUV comes at a starting price of Rs 8.69 lakh for the base LXi petrol manual variant. The top-end ZXi+ petrol automatic variant costs Rs 13.98 lakh. The Brezza lineup has three CNG variants – LXi, VXi and ZXi – priced at Rs 9.64 lakh, Rs 10.70 lakh and Rs 12.21 lakh, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

All variants of the Maruti Brezza are powered by a 1.5L K15C petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 103 bhp and 137 Nm of torque. This motor comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The top three trims are also available with the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Maruti Suzuki claims that the Brezza offers maximum fuel efficiency of 20.15 kmpl with the manual and 19.80 kmpl with the automatic gearbox.
The Brezza is the first compact SUV in India to come with the CNG fuel option. Its CNG version, which is offered on three trims, features a 1.5L K15C DualJet petrol engine with the factory-fitted CNG kit. Paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, it offers a maximum power of 88 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. The Brezza CNG returns a fuel economy of 25.51 km/kg.
