Maruti Suzuki India Limited achieved the highest-ever monthly sales by selling 212,251 units in January 2025. This total includes record domestic sales of 177,688 units, 7,463 units dispatched to other OEMs, and 27,100 units exported.
Here is the detailed car sales breakup of Maruti Suzuki (Jan 2025 vs. 2024):
In January 2025, sales for the Alto and S-Presso stood at 14,247 units, marking a decline from 15,849 units sold in January 2024.
One of the most popular compact segments recorded the sales of 82,241 units in January 2025, up from 76,533 units marked in January 2024.
Compared to 363 units in January 2024, the sales of Ciaz more than doubled in January 2025, reaching 768 units.
Sales climbed to 65,093 units last month, up from 62,038 units in January 2024, indicating the growing popularity of SUVs and MPVs in India.
Sales dipped to 11,250 units in January 2025, down from 12,019 units in January 2024.
Sales saw a significant 42.7% jump, reaching 7,463 units in January 2025, compared to 5,229 units in January 2024. This highlights stronger partnerships with other automakers.
Exports rose to 27,100 units in January 2025, up from 23,921 units in January 2024, showcasing Maruti Suzuki’s expanding global presence.
