A major mechanical upgrade is the 52.9 kWh battery pack, a significant leap from the 38 kWh unit in the regular Windsor. This larger battery powers the same 136 PS/200 Nm permanent magnet synchronous motor, but offers 449 km of range and improved performance.
On the outside, the Windsor Pro maintains the same overall design as the standard model. Though it has received the powered tailgate and three new exterior colours - Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red.
including the signature Turquoise Green colour. However, it now sports new dual-tone alloy wheels inspired by MG’s Hector and Astor SUVs, adding a more premium touch.
One of the standout additions to the Windsor Pro is Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which includes features like:
These driver assistance features are supported by audio, visual, and haptic alerts, enhancing overall safety for all occupants.
Inside, the MG Windsor Pro now features a light beige interior theme replacing the all-black cabin of the base model. The dashboard layout remains the same, retaining premium features like:
Further enhancing its utility, the Windsor Pro offers Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities, allowing users to power external devices or charge other EVs.
While the current Windsor EV is priced between Rs 14 lakh to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom), JSW MG Motor also offers a Battery as a Service (BaaS) option with prices starting at Rs 10 lakh, plus a battery rental fee of Rs 3.9/km. The new Windsor Pro is priced at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) due to its upgraded battery, ADAS, and added features.
Under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, the MG Windsor EV Pro is priced at Rs 12.49 lakh, with a battery rental cost of Rs 4.5 per km.
