Are you looking to buy a new compact SUV and have shortlisted the Creta as a possible option? Then we suggest you should wait for the facelifted model instead which is expected to launch early next year. Here are a few key highlights you should know about the upcoming Creta Facelift.
Currently, prices of the Hyundai Creta range from Rs 10.87 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom). With the launch of the upcoming compact SUV facelift, expect a price hike across the entire model range. The entry-level variant will be around Rs 50,000 more expensive than the outgoing model, while the top-end trim will be dearer by around Rs 1 lakh. However, the brand is yet to confirm any price details of the facelifted Creta.
The automaker had revealed a facelifted Creta in Indonesia back in 2021, and it was expected that this model would be coming to India this year. However, India is set to receive a different version instead, with latest spy shots revealing unique design elements.
The current Second-Generation Creta’s design has received mixed response in India. The upcoming facelifted SUV is expected to rectify that with an entirely new front fascia. The leaked spy shot images of a test mule reveal that the vehicle will get Hyundai’s new parametric front grille with an LED light bar placed above it, like the New Verna. The rear end too will feature a redesigned tailgate offering new connected LED taillights and a refreshed bumper. This will make the New 2024 Creta much more pleasing to the eye, attracting even more new buyers than before.
New leaked pictures online also indicate a grille-mounted camera and ADAS suite. This confirms that the Hyundai Creta Facelift will provide ADAS-Tech like Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, and more.
As mentioned earlier, the upcoming SUV is expected to arrive by early-2024. Reports suggest that Hyundai will start production of the facelifted Creta in India by January 2024, with an expected market launch a month after.
Upon launch, it will rival the likes of the Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq.
