Maruti Suzuki has just updated its popular SUV model, the Brezza with some new software features. Launched earlier this year, the compact SUV now comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets turn-by-turn navigation on the HUD and the instrument cluster MID.
The new features will be available only on the top-of-the-line Brezza ZXI+ trim, which comes with the larger 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system. The wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with the turn-by-turn navigation feature can be downloaded via Maruti’s official website or as OTA updates through the smartphone. There will be no additional cost involved in updating the car to the latest software version for the customers.
The auto giant launched the updated Brezza in India earlier this year. It has instantly proven to be a hit among the Indian buyer registering over 1.90 lakh bookings already. The compact SUV gets a redesigned exterior with new headlight, taillight, grille, and bumpers. On the inside the car gets more tech than ever before making it an attractive buy.
Prices for the Maruti Brezza range from Rs 7.99 lakh - Rs 13.80 lakh, ex-showroom. It is offered in a single petrol powertrain option. The K15C mild-hybrid engine makes 103 bhp and 138 Nm of peak power and torque figures. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
The Brezza competes with the likes of the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, and the Hyundai Venue.
