Volkswagen has revealed the updated look of the Volkswagen Taigun ahead of its official launch on April 9.

 

The facelift version has been spotted without camouflage, giving a clear view of all the design changes.

The Taigun facelift now looks sharper and more modern.

 

The front design takes inspiration from models like the Volkswagen Tiguan. It gets slimmer LED headlamps connected by a light bar, along with a revised grille and bumper.

 

At the rear, the SUV features updated tail lamps and a redesigned bumper, making it look more premium.

Sporty GT Line Spotted

The test vehicle appears to be the GT Line variant.

 

It gets GT badging and gloss black alloy wheels, which add a sporty touch. This version is expected to remain one of the top trims.

 

Cabin Likely to Get More Features

 

Inside, the Taigun facelift is expected to offer several new features.

 

These may include a new digital instrument cluster, a larger infotainment system, and a panoramic sunroof. These updates should improve comfort and overall cabin experience.

 

Engine Options to Continue

 

The engine lineup is expected to remain the same.

 

The 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine could get a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre TSI engine will likely continue with the 7-speed DSG transmission.

Competition in the Segment
