All three models continue with the same petrol powertrains but now have been updated to meet the upcoming Real Driving Emission norms. The vehicles come fitted with a self-diagnostic device that constantly tracks the vehicle’s emissions while driving as well as the oxygen sensors and the catalytic converter.

2023 Renault Triber comes powered by a 1-litre, three-pot petrol making 71 bhp with 96 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. Renault offers this powertrain also on the Kiger as well as a 1-litre turbo petrol pumping out 100 bhp with 152 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options for the subcompact SUV include a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic.

Talking about the Renault Kwid, it also comes powered by the same 1-litre petrol motor as the Triber. However, the 0.8-litre gasoline engine that used to be the entry-level offering for the vehicle is no longer available. It looks like Renault has dropped the engine from the lineup due to low demand.
