The much-awaited Nissan Gravite 7-seater MPV has finally been launched in India at an introductory price tag of Rs 5.65 lakh. Interested customers can book the new MPV online or at authorised dealerships. It is built on the CMF-A+ modular platform that also underpins the Renault Triber, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. The MPV shares its sheet metals and features with the Renault Triber, but gets several cosmetic design changes to keep things fresh in the market.

The Gravite is available in 5 trim levels - Visia, Accent, N-Connecta, Tekna and Launch Edition - priced between Rs 5.65 lakh and Rs 8.93 lakh, ex-showroom. The AMT gearbox is offered in top 3 variants, and priced between Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 8.93 lakh. The prices are applicable for first 5000 customers, which will also avail zero service costs for the first five years, as well as financing and upgrade benefits. As standard, the MPV gets 3 years/1,00,000km warranty which can be further extended up to 10 years and 2,00,000kms.
The Nissan Gravite is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 72bhp and 96Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
The Nissan Gravite petrol manual is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.3kmpl. The AMT version delivers 19.6kmpl. The company will also introduce the dealer-fit dual-cylinder CNG version of the Gravite in the country.
