Tata Harrier EV launches in India with a starting price of Rs 21.49 lakh (Ex-showroom) Official pre-bookings begin on July 2, 2025, with select dealers accepting early bookings The flagship electric SUV promises cutting-edge technology and a bold new design
Tata Harrier EV has officially arrived, marking one of the most exciting electric SUV launches in India. Priced from Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), this flagship electric SUV from Tata Motors is packed with host of premium and segment-first features.
While official pre-bookings start on July 2, 2025, eager buyers can already place unofficial bookings at select Tata dealerships.
Here is the list of features that make Tata Harrier EV stand out in the premium electric SUV segment.

Tata Harrier EV comes with a 14.53-inch Samsung Neo QLED infotainment screen, making it the largest in its segment. This high-tech display offers stunning visuals with vibrant colours, high contrast, and superior HDR performance. The screen also supports offline maps by MAPPL, allowing navigation without an internet connection, ensuring a seamless user experience.
The electronic rearview mirror (E-IRVM) with DVR functionality is another first for India. This system replaces the traditional rearview mirror and displays live feeds from both the front and rear cameras. Even with a fully-loaded boot, the system ensures clear rear vision, and users can download camera footage via a QR code, turning it into a dashcam for added security.

The brand has integrated advanced autonomous parking features into the Harrier EV. The e-Valet suite includes autonomous parallel and perpendicular parking options, along with remote park assist. The Summon Mode feature even allows owners to park their vehicle remotely, adding an extra layer of convenience for users.
For added convenience, the Harrier EV introduces a new set of advanced keys. The remote key is sleek and circular, equipped with buttons for self-parking and summon mode. Alternatively, the Harrier EV also offers a Digital Key for tech-savvy users and an NFC key card for those who prefer not to carry a physical key or smartphone.

Tata Motors has equipped the Harrier EV with the UltraGlide suspension system, a multi-link setup with frequency-dependent dampers. This suspension provides better comfort and handling, adjusting according to the selected Terrain Mode. Additionally, this marks the return of independent rear suspension for Tata vehicles, which was last seen in the Nano.

Tata Harrier EV comes with an innovative 540-degree camera system that offers an extended view of the vehicle’s surroundings. This system provides a 360-degree view along with a transparent bonnet feature, showing a view of the vehicle’s underbody. These combined features enhance safety and offer unparalleled convenience during parking and driving.
With a dual-motor setup and 504 Nm of torque, the Harrier EV delivers impressive performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. The rear motor generates 238 PS, while the front motor produces 158 PS, ensuring a powerful driving experience. The Harrier EV is also Tata’s first rear-wheel-drive (RWD) vehicle since the Nano and Safari Storme.
The Quad-Wheel Drive (QWD) system enhances both on-road and off-road performance. The Harrier EV offers a 25.3° approach angle, 26.4° departure angle, and 16.6° breakover angle, making it ideal for rough terrains. Additionally, the SUV comes with six Terrain Modes: Normal, Sand, Mud Ruts, Snow/Grass, Rock Crawl, and Custom Mode to tackle various off-road conditions.

The Harrier EV boasts the Zenith suite as a standard feature, offering numerous comfort features. These include powered and ventilated front seats, memory functions for the driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, and 65W fast-charging Type-C ports. With these features, both the driver and passengers are guaranteed a premium experience.
